My name is Layla O'Neill (she/her, they/them either is okay), as of making this portfolio I am eighteen years old. I'm from New York, attending Purchase College as a Playwriting/Screenwriting major. I love watching movies - my art stemmed from that the most - hanging out with my friends, and continuing my ever-growing collection of vinyl records, trinkets, and books/movie scripts.

I've made it a personal mission to explore as many mediums as possible, and perfect those I love the most through self teaching. Art has been a lifelong love, and those who know me will tell you I've been creating for the majority of my life. I feel color is the most important thing to art, it's what tone is to writing in my eyes which is why I embrace it as much as possible in all of my pieces. LHO (or L8O) stems from my initials, and the logo is a very old art signature I used to use which was an attempt at the & symbol. 

All I've ever wished for is my art to be enjoyed by all, and to put a smile on a few faces. Or maybe even have someone's jaw slack with awe. I hope whoever reads this enjoys my work, and has as much fun with it as I did while creating it!
